Matthias Höfert is a conductor and composer and is one of the most accomplished representatives of symphonic wind music in Germany.
He conducts the Federal Police Orchestra in Hanover and the Lower Saxony State Youth Wind Orchestra. He is a sought-after adjudicator and mentors the wind band he founded in Lengfurt.
