LASZLO MAROSI

Laszlo Marosi enjoys a career of leading wind bands and orchestras at concerts, festivals, recording studios and academies around the world. Educated at the Liszt Academy, he spent 15 years as conductor of the Hungarian Central Army Band. He published The History of the Military Music in Hungary from 1741-1945 in 2011. His numerous awards include the Artisjus Prize (Hungarian Composers Union), the FAME Award (Mid-Europe), the Roger Bobo Award (International Tuba and Euphonium Association) and the Peace Ambassador Award (Mil Milenios de Paz-Fundacion, PEA/UNESCO).
